This revised and expanded edition includes additional guidance for crystal ball use and care as well as information on using crystals and gemstones for healing and protection. Also, included is an A-Z list of stones and their lore, power, and healing properties. Discover which stones to use for which specific purposes.
Pagan News Review by PaganNews.com
More than just an exploration of Crystal balls, as the sub-title states this book also contains information on "Stones, Amulets, and Talismans for Power, Protection and Prophecy".
Sibyl Ferguson was a psychic and clairvoyant school-teacher whoe died ca. 1982. This book is a revision and expansion of her original work by Witch Bree, author the the Witch's brew books.
It seems a little unfair to me that Sybil Ferguson headlines the book, after all her Crystal Ball section is only the first 15 pages. Everything else after that is the work of Witch Bree. But I am sure the publishers and Bree had their reasons for this.
The book is another in the small, compact, go anywhere style that seems to be all the rage at the moment. The information contained within on Crystals, Colors and Talismans is succinct and accurate.
To be honest, there is nothing you get from this book that you couldn't get from a more comprehensive volume, however where this book scores is that it takes the most common crystals and correspondences and places them in one small compact volume of 82 pages.
Given the size, the cover price may be a little high, perhaps because the cover is hardback, which may account for it. It is a useful volume to have and carry with you, so if you can find it at a discount, then I would certainly recommend it.
